About - yes this is for real

WHO AM I ?
For starters - I am not an AI bot!
I am a life long athlete, ultra runner who spent 5 years living in Canadas rainiest city, Prince Rupert in the Pacific Northwest of BC (rain wet). I now live in one of the hottest in the Okanagan (sweat wet ;)
Here is my Strava if you want to check in (and yes I run with my dog a lot)  https://www.strava.com/athletes/29522062

WHAT IS WITH THE WET WOMAN BRAND?
Yes I know what people think when they hear this name.
I also know we are not supposed to be "sweaty" or mayhap too delicate to sport in the rain.
I want to have some fun normalizing women's active bodies in all their shapes, age, sizes and state of sweatiness.

I belong to a lot of women's run groups and was surprised to see a lot of discussion about "what to do about sweating" so this site was built to address that and rain wet while I am at it.

WHAT VALUE WETWOMEN OFFERS
I will be posting a series of videos on running wet including reviews for waterproof gear or gear to keep you comfortable running wet (i.e. anti-chafe, anti-blister). I will also provide forums on sweat wet and how to deal with that.
We have found some deals on gear that is helpful. Some is for sale in my store and yes it helps fund my continued efforts to develop and maintain the community.

Rainwet: I am an ultra runner living in Canadas rainiest city, Prince Rupert in the Pacific Northwest of BC. I will be posting a series of videos on running wet including reviews for waterproof gear or gear to keep you comfortable running wet (i.e. anti-chafe, anti-blister). I will also provide forums on sweat wet and how to deal with that.  I will also keep posting scenes from the misty pacific Northwest which apparently are soothing when the rest of the world gets hot in summer lol.

Sweatwet: I am a life ling notorious sweater. Whether running, dancing, climbing, at the gym; you name it, I will sweat on it. It's actually healthy and it has taken me time to embrace or at least accept it. It does come with challenges like watching electrolytes, "embarrassing" clothing discoloration and the chafies. I also read many posts from other women asking how they can stop sweating. If you are like me - if you are working ut well, you are going to sweat. All you can do it manage it and be proud of how well your body is working!

Give me a follow for humorous series of tirades about the wonders of being an active woman. Have fun out there!
